This part-time contract opportunity offers 10-12 hours per week, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life while helping students in need of specialized communication support.
In this position, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create individualized plans tailored to each student’s unique needs. Whether you hold your SLP-CCC or are a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY), your expertise will play a vital role in helping students develop their communication and language skills for success in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Active state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
- Knowledge of IEP process and school-based documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, screenings, and direct therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans based on individual student requirements
- Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers
- Maintain accurate progress reports and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall student support process
