School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Providence, Rhode Island

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in schools or working with pediatric populations favored
- Strong knowledge of state and school requirements for speech-language service provision
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and implement direct speech-language therapy tailored to individual student needs
- Develop, monitor, and document student goals and progress in compliance with IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to support students’ educational success
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and adhere to school/state confidentiality and compliance standards
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families, offering resources and guidance to promote student outcomes
Role Highlights:
- Flexible scheduling: roughly 5–10 hours per week, with opportunities to set your own days and times in partnership with the school
- Manage a small caseload (approximately five students) at a single, welcoming school site
- Start date: September 7, 2026 | End date: May 31, 2027
