Qualifications & Skills:
- Active state-issued Speech-Language Pathologist license is required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Must fulfill all state and school prerequisites for delivering speech-language services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and direct therapy for assigned students
- Develop, monitor, and document individualized goals and progress
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation of all services
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Offer practical recommendations to support students within the school environment
- Uphold student privacy and communicate with professionalism at all times
