Speech-Language Pathologist - Full-Time

We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based position serving a preschool population in Central Falls, RI. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP passionate about helping young children develop communication skills through assessment, evaluation, and direct speech therapy services.
The selected candidate will support approximately 40 preschool students and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged students
- Complete evaluations, reassessments, and progress reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district requirements
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
Caseload Information
- Preschool program
- Approximately 40 students on caseload
- Focus on assessment, evaluations, and direct therapy services
- School-based setting
Qualifications
- Active Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Experience with preschool-aged children is a plus
