Depending on preference and need, you may offer services across two campuses or dedicate your expertise fully to one site.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license or active CA Educator Certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience providing speech/language therapy in a school-based setting, especially at the elementary level
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to create engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual and group needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct intervention utilizing evidence-based strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Monitor and document student outcomes and adjust plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Offer consultative support to staff to promote generalization of skills across school environments
