Qualifications:
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience strongly encouraged
- Must fulfill all state and school requirements for providing speech-language services
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and interventions for students with speech and language needs
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments
- Set and monitor student goals, delivering measurable progress updates
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a collaborative team member
- Document services and student progress with accuracy and timeliness
- Consult with teachers and families, offering recommendations to support students in the classroom setting
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
