Work closely with a manageable caseload of approximately 15 students, providing impactful speech and language services during extended school-year programming. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure/certification for schools
- Demonstrated experience with K-12 student populations
- Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and ability to implement therapy goals
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a diverse group of students, focusing on individualized needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure coordinated support and progress monitoring
- Evaluate and document student performance, updating stakeholders and making recommendations as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
- Utilize creativity and evidence-based strategies to encourage student participation and growth
Assignment Details:
- Dates: June 8th - July 2nd
- June 8th: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
- June 9th - July 2nd: 8:00 am – 12:15 pm
- Caseload: Approximately 15 students for focused, quality care
