School Speech Language Pathologist - Port Matilda, Pennsylvania
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students across K-12 grade levels as you provide speech-language therapy services in a contract role spanning three school buildings. This opportunity offers a dynamic caseload incorporating both individual and group treatments, allowing you to make connections with students from diverse backgrounds while working collaboratively with faculty and staff.
Your expertise will empower students to achieve their communication goals and improve confidence in academic and social settings. You’ll work in a structured, supportive environment, engaging with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. With a caseload composed of 55 thirty-minute sessions each week (16 individual, 37 group), you’ll have variety in your sessions, helping you grow professionally as you make a difference.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing evidence-based therapy
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Manage a caseload split among three buildings
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
