Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience providing speech and language services in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team
- Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and in-service training sessions
- Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers and families to maximize student success
- Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure effective intervention delivery
