Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) for practice in educational settings
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
- Prior experience with early childhood populations (ages 3-5) in school or center-based settings highly valued
- Skilled in evaluation, development, and implementation of IEPs
- Committed to culturally responsive, student-centered practice
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for preschoolers
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions to students at varying communication levels
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate carryover of strategies
- Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Manage a caseload no larger than 50 students, ensuring personalized attention
- Flexible daily schedule (7:45 am-3:15 pm), with accommodations possible to support work-life balance
