Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP license in Pennsylvania
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based environment is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Deliver direct therapy services tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights on student progress and goals
  • Offer guidance and support to school staff regarding effective speech/language intervention strategies
