Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Pennsylvania state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students, individually and in groups
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, interpreting results to guide intervention plans
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings
- Document progress, maintain accurate reports, and comply with all federal and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support students’ academic and social success
- Offer resources and training to staff and families to optimize communication strategies in school settings
