Your workweek will consist of five days filled with collaborative partnerships and direct interventions. The primary focus is supporting preschool students, with afternoons occasionally spent offering services to elementary-aged children. Morning hours are dedicated to preschoolers, aligning therapy with their schedule before nap time, while afternoons are typically reserved for elementary visits.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Kentucky (or eligibility to obtain)
- Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders
- School-based experience is highly valued—either through internships, practicums, or prior roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of students, conducting screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy in line with IEP goals
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each child
- Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations
- Adapt services between preschool and elementary schedules, ensuring continuity of care
