Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school setting is appreciated, but strong clinical skills and a passion for working with children are most important
- Able to manage cases effectively from referral to intervention and re-evaluation
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational abilities for tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide both direct and indirect therapy services to a varied student population
- Manage a caseload, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Document sessions and monitor progress to adapt therapy plans as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student outcomes
