Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure is required.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with children from kindergarten through eighth grade.
- Familiarity with pediatric speech language pathology and clinical fellowship year (CFY) experience.
- Credentialed with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to student progress and collaboration with educators.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to K-8 students.
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations.
