Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Troy, Ohio

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in a school setting
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations, preferably K-12
- In-depth understanding of best practices in evaluating and treating communication disorders
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working in educational or healthcare settings is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, aligning with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate actively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to develop effective interventions
- Support students across various grade levels, adapting strategies to diverse needs
