Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain
- Experience providing pediatric speech therapy, preferably in a school or healthcare environment
- Strong organizational skills to efficiently balance a caseload of 38 students
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff
- Passion for working with students across all grade levels (K-12)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication needs of students from kindergarten through high school
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Deliver direct therapy services within school settings, adhering to assigned minutes and documentation requirements
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support academic success and overall well-being
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize student outcomes
