Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential required
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Proficiency in delivering healthcare-related SLP services within an academic setting
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12, both individually and in groups
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, monitor, and document individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress
- Participate in team meetings, eligibility meetings, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with district and legal requirements
