Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to two vibrant educational environments near Euclid, OH. This rewarding contract opportunity allows you to split your time between a specialized high school serving students with emotional disturbances (grades 8-12) and a progressive STEM school (grades 6-12). You’ll play a vital role from August 24th through May 31st, helping students reach their communication and academic goals.
This position offers the flexibility of providing services for approximately 7 hours on-site at each location weekly—totaling about 15 hours per week. Your work will empower students to thrive both academically and personally in settings that value innovation and student well-being.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid OH SLP license and ASHA CCC (or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year—CFY)
- Prior experience with school-aged children, especially in middle and high school settings
- Comfort working with students experiencing emotional disturbances (ED)
- Experience in educational or healthcare SLP settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload independently across two sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades 6-12
- Develop and implement tailored therapy programs for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Collect and document data to monitor progress and guide therapy interventions
- Attend meetings as needed and communicate effectively with stakeholders
