Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (Ohio)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working with pediatric and school-age populations
- Previous exposure to elementary and middle grades (K-8) preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
Role responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with teachers and families
- Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student outcomes and support inclusive education
- Consult and communicate regularly with families on student progress and strategies for continued growth
- Attend relevant meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
