Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or related field
- Valid SLP licensure (CCC or CFY) in Arizona
- ASHA certification or eligibility required
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred (K-12)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Dedication to evidence-based therapy and collaborative problem-solving
- Positive, adaptable attitude when supporting students with varied needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for caseloads of approximately 55 students each
- Position 1: Serve K-8th grade students in various capacities
- Position 2: Support a specialized high school program three days per week and K-8th caseload two days per week
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to integrate therapy with classroom objectives
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development
