Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Philipsburg, PA
Deliver meaningful support to students across three school buildings by stepping into a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) contract opportunity near Philipsburg, PA. In this role, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educational teams serving kindergarten through 12th grade, providing a blend of group and individual interventions that cater to a diverse population of learners.
Your week will include managing a caseload distributed among elementary, middle, and high school settings, enabling you to make a real difference at multiple developmental stages. The role spans 35 hours per week, featuring a flexible variety of 55 thirty-minute treatment sessions, including 16 individual sessions and 37 group activities. Effective communication, organization, and adaptability are essential as you transition between the three school buildings.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP work with K-12 students.
- Skilled in both individual and group therapy strategies.
- Ability to adapt to different age groups and learning environments.
- Strong collaborative spirit to work alongside other education professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy tailored to elementary, middle, and high school students.
- Conduct assessments, design treatment plans, and track student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure effective support.
