Make a meaningful impact by supporting early learners in their communication journey as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in early childhood. This contract opportunity offers two full-time openings working with early intervention caseloads in a dynamic, supportive educational environment just outside Philadelphia, PA. You’ll primarily serve students in an itinerant capacity, collaborating with educational teams and families to ensure each child experiences growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure, or eligibility, as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Prior experience with early intervention or early childhood populations preferred
- Strong ability to work independently and provide services across multiple locations
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills for partnering with educators and families
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered practice
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for a diverse caseload of preschool and early elementary students
- Deliver mostly itinerant services, traveling between sites to support students in their natural environments
- Develop and implement therapy goals targeting speech, language, and communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and additional service providers to create supportive educational plans
- Maintain clear, timely documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team recommendations
