Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid license and certification to practice as an SLP in Pennsylvania
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood and early intervention services
- Proficiency in developing and implementing effective therapy plans for children ages birth to five
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working in various school or community settings as part of a mobile team
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within a mixed caseload of early intervention students
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions in multiple settings as part of an itinerant service delivery model
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and fellow specialists to support optimal outcomes for each student
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and data tracking in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Attend meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
- Educate parents and teachers, equipping them with strategies to reinforce language and communication development
