This position offers two full-time openings for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to work with early childhood caseloads in a dynamic school setting. Primarily itinerant, this role gives you the chance to collaborate across multiple sites and have a meaningful impact in shaping children’s communication skills during their formative years.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship applicants considered
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood and early intervention services
- Background in itinerant service delivery is a plus
- Superb interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Able to adapt strategies to diverse learning styles and environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to children in early intervention programs
- Travel between assigned sites to work closely with students, teachers, and families
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing students’ unique needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights for comprehensive care
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and complete evaluations and assessments as required
- Offer consultation to educational staff and caregivers, providing resources and support
