Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) considered
- Prior experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication needs of students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ educational goals
- Provide direct therapy and intervention in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the IEP process
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
- Remain current on best practices and trends in school-based speech therapy
