Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current and valid SLP license in Pennsylvania
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is valuable
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency needs among students
- Develop targeted therapy plans and interventions, tailored to each student’s goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, attendance, and communication with stakeholders
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to help shape educational planning
- Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups, fostering a positive, encouraging atmosphere
