Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and educational documentation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and families
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver assessments, diagnostics, and direct speech-language therapy to students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input to teachers and families
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and compliance with educational and legal guidelines
- Provide direct support and coaching to teachers for supporting students’ communication needs in the classroom
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding speech and language development
