Speech Language Pathologist in Philadelphia, PA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience or strong interest in pediatric populations
- Ability to work effectively with K-4th grade students of diverse needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support academic achievement and communication development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports
- Engage students in creative, evidence-based therapy sessions to foster a positive learning environment
