Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) seeking contract roles dedicated to supporting students in the Early Intervention program near Philadelphia, PA. This position focuses on providing vital speech and language services across multiple areas, ensuring each child receives the comprehensive care they deserve.
In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of SLPs, working either full-time (35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–3:30 pm) or part-time (minimum two days per week) to serve students in a variety of communities. While SLPs are placed within a specific zone to best meet student needs, flexibility in service area is essential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
- Possession of Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification (Emergency certificates accepted).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- School-based experience or strong interest in pediatric/educational settings.
- Ability to adapt to varied service locations and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with program and state guidelines.
- Consult and collaborate with families and educational staff to develop and implement intervention strategies.
- Provide services within assigned regions, focusing on continuity and quality of care.
