Qualifications we seek:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current SLP licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent time management, organization, and written/verbal communication skills
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and addressing speech, language, and communication needs of students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Creating and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to students’ unique goals
- Maintaining detailed and compliant documentation on student progress and outcomes
- Consulting and collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Facilitating group and individual therapy sessions in accordance with school schedules
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to educational planning as a valued team member
