Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Active SLP license or eligibility for licensure in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and work with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with state and federal special education guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and document progress toward student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Provide consultation and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language developmental strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports
