- Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and families from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students needing speech and language support
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy using evidence-based practices
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate students, staff, and families about communication disorders and interventions
- Adjust interventions to meet evolving student needs and foster inclusive learning environments
