This contract opportunity near Petaluma, CA, involves providing vital leave coverage from November 2, 2026, through February 26, 2027. You’ll split your expertise across two locations: 0.8 FTE at an elementary campus, fostering early language skills, and 0.2 FTE at a middle school, guiding students as they expand their communication abilities.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Valid California SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA licensure required
  • Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with elementary and/or middle school students
  • Strong collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, families, and school teams
  • Excellent documentation and report writing abilities
  • Ability to deliver engaging, effective speech and language therapy to diverse student populations
  • Flexibility to adapt service delivery based on school and individual student needs

Your Role Will Include:

  • Conducting screenings, evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring for students
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure a continuum of care
  • Supporting IEP development, goal setting, and meetings
  • Maintaining thorough records in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Providing direct intervention individually or in small groups
