Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active and valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, particularly elementary and middle school students, is desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for successful student, staff, and family collaboration
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse needs across different age groups
- Passion for helping students achieve academic and functional communication goals
- Please note: SLPA credentials are not accepted for this position. Only SLPs may apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative speech-language services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, as well as teachers and families, to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports to ensure compliance with school and state requirements
- Support students across two school sites, fostering engaging and inclusive learning environments
