Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility in California)
  • Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills & ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain documentation
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
  • Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals regarding student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare timely progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff collaborations
  • Educate and empower teachers and caregivers with strategies to support student success
