Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP licensure in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with a K-12 population in a school-based setting
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organization skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Ability to work onsite five days per week, 37.5 hours weekly
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
- Deliver therapy sessions to small groups and one-on-one
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state standards
- Support teachers and parents with resources and strategies to enhance student success
- Contribute to a positive, learning-focused school environment for every student
