School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Peru, Indiana

This contract role offers a part-time, onsite schedule: three days per week (days are flexible to fit your availability), consistent hours from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 21.75 hours weekly. You’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated SLPA while providing high-quality care and intervention to a shared caseload of about 55 students. Your skills will ensure that students reach pivotal communication goals and experience measurable, positive growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Indiana SLP licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of effective, evidence-based therapy techniques for children and adolescents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and write clear, actionable evaluation reports
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student-specific needs
- Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust therapy strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Supervise and coordinate with an SLPA to ensure continuity and quality of services
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based sessions onsite to foster communication development
