School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Indianapolis, Indiana
Make a direct impact on students from kindergarten through 8th grade by providing expert speech and language services in a collaborative and supportive environment. This engaging contract opportunity is based in a single site close to Indianapolis, IN, and offers both an immediate full-time schedule to cover a maternity leave, transitioning to a flexible part-time schedule through the end of the school year.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Indiana SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus, but open to licensed new graduates
- Proficiency in evaluations, direct speech and language therapy, and AAC management
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with families, staff, and teaching teams
- Capability to take the lead as a CCC and provide collaborative insights
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to a caseload of approximately 75 students
- Serve kindergarten through 8th graders with diverse needs, ensuring individualized and effective therapy plans
- Foster regular communication with families, educators, and school staff
- Collaborate on educational strategies and progress updates
- Oversee management and education regarding AAC devices and best practices
- Act as a lead CCC within the school setting, providing mentorship and guidance
- Option to deliver services via teletherapy, in coordination with onsite personnel
Schedule Details:
- Full-time hours (Monday–Friday) from November to February to cover maternity leave
- Transition to part-time (about 15–20 hours/week) flexible schedule through May
- Start date is flexible; interviews are available between 11/21 and 12/2
