Make a real impact on students’ lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Tippecanoe County. Our school district is expanding services and has immediate openings for three dedicated professionals to join the team for the new school year. This full-time contract opportunity will involve working with diverse caseloads, including students in Essential (Life Skills) programs within the county’s schools. Assignments will be thoughtfully tailored, with settings ranging from elementary to high school—and a blend of onsite and teletherapy possibilities.
Your expertise will support students in their communication, social, and academic development. As a valued team member, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to deliver comprehensive care in an inclusive educational environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Indiana SLP licensure (or eligibility for state licensure)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Passion for supporting students with varying needs, including those in Essential Skills programs
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver therapy in individual and group settings, both onsite and virtually
- Provide ongoing consultation and support to educational teams and families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and case notes
- Participate in team meetings and professional development initiatives
