Support K-12 learners in achieving their communication goals as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position. This role offers the chance to collaborate with educators and families, making a genuine difference in students’ academic and social success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP process and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services for students with a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Document services, progress, and communications according to school and district policy
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
- Remain current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
