What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations to diagnose communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with student-centered speech therapy goals.
- Provide engaging, direct therapy services in individual and small group settings.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and the multidisciplinary special education team to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided in compliance with Illinois state guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active Illinois SLP license is required (or eligibility to obtain).
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Support Personnel endorsement for Speech-Language Pathologist is required for school-based practice.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome and encouraged to apply!
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is preferred but not required.
