Step into an impactful role providing speech-language services for students in an engaging school environment. This full-time, in-person contract opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and offers the chance to shape young learners’ communication skills over the course of the school year. With approximately 33.25 hours per week, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated educational team to make a meaningful difference each day.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions to meet students’ IEP goals
- Provide support and consultation to teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports student growth and learning
