Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Illinois
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and school documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and learning styles
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and progress notes
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate educational success
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student planning
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students
