School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Pekin, Indiana

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, providing invaluable support to students during a maternity leave coverage from December through March. This engaging role is located near Pekin, IN, and offers the chance to work directly with students in a supportive school environment, making a positive impact every day.
As the on-site SLP, you'll work 35 hours per week, interacting daily with students and collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and families. You'll provide both direct therapy and conduct assessments to help students reach their communication and learning goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Indiana SLP license (required)
- Current DOE certification (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly desirable
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students as part of their IEP plans
- Test, assess, and monitor students’ speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop personalized goals
- Consult and coordinate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with school and state requirements
