What you bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Recent experience in school settings, especially with diverse student populations across grades
- Strong collaboration skills for teaming up with educators, families, and support staff
- Confidence conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and monitoring progress
- Knowledge of IEP procedures and documentation requirements
- Adaptable, proactive approach to supporting students’ individual needs
Your key responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Perform evaluations and standard assessments to identify speech or language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with students’ educational programs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to facilitate student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and supporting compliance
- Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and documentation as required by the school and district policies
- Offer training and resources to staff and families as needed
