Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcomed
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy tailored to each student’s needs
- Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and parents to monitor progress and adjust strategies
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide support for students with a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication challenges
- Participate in professional development opportunities and school-based meetings
