Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active California SLP licensure required
- Prior experience with school-based caseloads, especially serving students with moderate-to-severe needs and those using AAC devices
- Comfort and skill in supporting multilingual learners
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to elementary students, both individually and in groups
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and document student progress
- Adapt therapy strategies for AAC users and multilingual students
- Support inclusive educational practices across the school setting
Position Details & Benefits:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday)
- School-year contract: August start, June end
- Competitive weekly pay within the range of $50 to $65 per hour
