In this dynamic role, you'll split your week between North Port High School (three days) and Oak Park (two days), collaborating with educators and families to provide high-quality speech and language services. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services on site
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Travel between North Port HS and Oak Park locations as scheduled
