Two full-time positions are available for Speech-Language Pathologists who are ready to collaborate directly on campus within supportive school communities. This is a contract role beginning August 10, 2026, and extending through May 27, 2027, with placements at Nolan Middle and Manatee Elementary, and the potential for additional school assignments as needs evolve.
What you’ll need to bring:
- A current FL Speech-Language Pathologist license (Master’s level required; opportunities available for Clinical Fellows – CFY)
- Previous experience in a school setting is ideal, but dedicated new graduates are welcome
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage varied caseloads and collaborate with educators and families
- Flexibility in adapting to changing student needs and assignments
- Ability to provide compassionate and evidence-based therapy to elementary and/or middle school students
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy services to students with diverse needs across assigned campuses
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Work on site, building rapport with school staff, students, and families to promote success and inclusion
- Support and mentor, as applicable, students working through their Clinical Fellowship Year
