Step into an engaging, full-time contract opportunity within dynamic educational settings near Sarasota, FL, serving students at multiple school campuses for the upcoming academic year. This role focuses on providing vital speech-language pathology services, helping to empower students to reach their communication and educational goals.
Start and end dates run from August 10, 2026, through May 27, 2027, covering the full school year with a 35-hour work week. Assignments will be primarily at two confirmed campuses, with potential for additional placements as needs arise. Caseloads will be determined upon assignment, ranging in age and service needs based on the district’s priorities at the time of placement.
What We're Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, valid Florida SLP license (required)
- Will consider both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and experienced SLPs with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Strong commitment to working on-site—remote roles are not available
- Ability to provide comprehensive assessment, intervention, and consultative services
- Passion for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a varied caseload of school-aged students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, track student progress, and maintain timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, support data-driven intervention planning, and communicate effectively with teachers and families
- Support a positive school environment that nurtures student growth
